The practice of Yoga has many benefits. The systems of the body are brought into balance, the mind learns how to be calm and peaceful and attitudes to everyday life can be examined and, if necessary, rectified.

The physical benefits are the most immediate, and include a better posture, more relaxed limbs and an increase in energy and well-being. The practice does not have to be demanding and can be started at any age.

Once yoga comes into your life, the more you practice, the greater the benefit. However, even one class a week can enhance your daily living and begin to heal both body and mind.

Yoga is not a religion but if you have a faith yourself, yoga can deepen and strengthen it.
