HypnoBirthing

HypnoBirthing® is a gentle childbirth education programme that helps achieve a rewarding and stress-free birthing. HypnoBirthing® techniques are easy to learn and apply. Whatever kind of birth you're planning - homebirth, hospital, birthing centre or whatever - HypnoBirthing® can help.

Couples learn the techniques together in 5 x 2½ hour sessions.

About the Founder:

• Marian Nisbet is a qualified, retired Midwife.
• I am also a Certified HypnoBirthing® Childbirth Educator and have been qualified in HypnoBirthing® since October 2003, having taken the initial course in Birmingham, and a follow up course with Marie Mongan, the founder of HypnoBirthing® and the HypnoBirthing® Institute.
• I am one of the few HypnoBirthing educators in Wales and, was one of the first in the Country to train.
• I am a Certified Hypnotherapist, certified through the Robert Shields College of Hypnotherapy.
• I am a qualified therapist in Reiki (Master/Teacher)
• I have a Diploma in Reflexology and Indian Head Massage (V.T.C.T. trained) and practice E.F.T. (a unique and effective treatment for all fears and phobias)
• I have also completed a course in Aromatherapy specifically for pregnant women
• My particular areas of interest and passions are women and pregnancy
• I provide childbirth education to pregnant women and their partners and incorporate therapies such as specialised reflexology and aromatherapy sessions for specific pregnancy problems
• The HypnoBirthing® course has been extremely popular with all the clients I have had the pleasure to teach, having had many successes in teaching women how to have a wonderfully calm and peaceful birth!
• I am an affiliate member of the HypnoBirthing® institute, a member of the Royal College of Midwives, a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists and a member of the Association of Ethical and Professional Hypnotherapists
